Many of the public buildings we maintain & refurbish contain lighting systems that can be on for 18 hours a day, this coupled with the fact that a lot of the lighting is for display purposes rather than functional.
The average display spot light lamp is 50Watt and given that many shops and commercial buildings can have in excess of a 100!! That’s a lot of power that is being taken by Just display lighting.
The Answer?
LED lamps... These super bright long life lamps can give out the same Lux and lighting levels as a 50w Spot lamp and they consume between 5 & 7 watt!! Oh.. and they last on average 50,000 hours!!! Were a normal 50w spot light lasts on average 3000 hours if you’re lucky.
We are now upgrading lighting installations around the northwest and we don’t just stop at LED spotlights, we can replace all your back of shop florescent lighting with the same high powered LED's in addition to this we are installing time switches and occupancy time delay switches to turn off lighting when a room is empty.
